Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, and Fuji maestro Pasuma set the stage on fire during a performance at the Celestial Church’s Praise night on December 15th, 2023, held at the Celestial Church of Christ, Goshen Land Cathedral in Ogudu, Lagos State.
Despite being Muslims, both Portable and Pasuma were scheduled to perform at the praise night, causing a social media uproar. Initially, a church leader stated that Portable would no longer perform, but Portable insisted on honoring his commitment to the church event.
Staying true to his word, Portable, along with Pasuma, received a warm welcome as they arrived at the venue on Friday night, where they captivated the audience with their performances. During Portable’s energetic act, money was sprayed on him by enthusiastic attendees, reaching a moment where the singer accused Celestial church members of taking advantage by allegedly misappropriating the money sprayed on him.
