A level 300 student at KNUST commits suicide.

In a tragic incident, a third-year student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) reportedly took her own life in her hostel room. The student, who was pursuing a degree in Real Estate, resided at Ultimate Hostel in Bomso.

According to sources, she sent a message to her friends stating, ‘I QUIT.’ However, by the time her friends reached her room, she had already taken her own life. The door was locked, and fellow residents of the hostel had to forcefully break it down in an attempt to save her. Unfortunately, their efforts were in vain as it was too late.

Authorities were immediately contacted, and the police arrived at the scene to transfer the deceased student’s body to the morgue.

The news of this tragic incident was shared on the official Twitter account of the university, expressing their condolences.
