Kassena-Nankana Municipal Police Commander, DSP Oppong Agyare Francis was quoted by mynewsgh.com to have said, the rising armed robbery cases in the town can be blamed on the youth who spend long hours in bushes smooching their girlfriend’s whiles leaving their motorbikes to the mercy of thieves.
This alleged comment by the police commander has seen a lot of backlash from the youth of Navrongo and beyond. Aphaska, a rising artist from Navrongo who is based in Accra in a music track titled \”Police Commander\”, expressed his displeasure concerning the distasteful comments made by the police commander as reported on mynewsgh and ghanaweb.
Aphaska in the music track indicated that, the alleged statement has projected young men from Navrongo to be irresponsible. He therefore wants to use the medium he communicates best to pass a message to the Police commander to render an apology using the same medium he aired it on.
