The 21-year-old Political Science and History student from the University of Ghana comes into this pageant with so much wealth, gained through her academic trajectory. As someone who loves culture and embraces dynamism in the society, she blends well and has so far, proven to be an agent of change in the show. Her impressive display on the GMB stage is no surprise to friends, family, and acquaintances. Many have been mesmerized by her composure, confidence, eloquence, and near-perfect displays.
As an old student of Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School, she carries the spirit of the heroine (Yaa Asantewaa), whose name the school bears. Wedaga has always been a leader, a mouthpiece especially, to the feminine side and youth right from basic school. Women empowerment and development, sex education, educating people on teenage pregnancy among others remain her top priorities.
With her love and interest in reading, debating, poetry recital, teaching, and desire to serve, one is left with no doubt, the Upper East Regional representative of this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful is ready to compete for the crown..
