Tangoba Abayage mostly referred to as the lioness has officially exited the upper East regional coordinating council on 15/03/2021 and handed over to Hon. Stephen Yakubu who assumes office as regional minister.
She has expressed gratitude to chiefs, staff of RCC departments, and all individuals who constructively kept her on her toes when she was in office. She expressed gratitude to the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana AKUFFO ADDO for giving her the opportunity to serve her home.
She noted all this in a Facebook post.
\”Today I formally exited the Upper East Regional Coordinating Council as I handed over the baton as the Regional Minister to my brother and now the Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Stephen Yakubu.I thanked the staff of the RCC for the greatest support I received from them which enabled me to discharge my duties in my two year tenure. My deepest appreciation is to H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Mr. President for this awesome experience he gave me an opportunity to have.Let me use this platform to place on record that the support I received from Heads of Departments, REGSEC, Traditional Authorities, especially the Paramount Chiefs who treated me with so much love and dignity, the pressure groups that have the Region at heart and ensured we pushed ourselves to deliver, members of our great NPP who never relented in their support for my tenure.I know I have a lot of admirers out there: thank you, thank you, thank you. I also know there are some whose expectations I couldn’t meet: it just makes me human. I pray you accept my humanness and know that I couldn’t have done it all, no matter how much I wish I could. If I hurt you, please forgive. It’s never in my nature to intentionally hurt people.
We move on to greater heights! That’s what life is all about!Much love! Tanto amore \”
